3 Things You Always Need to Communicate to Your Cleaning Team

At Nashville Brighthouse, we want your customizable home cleanings to be a smooth, enjoyable experience. With that goal in mind, one of the pillars of our organization is communication; we believe that both our employees and our clients benefit from clear, consistent communication in all aspects of the home cleaning journey.

In order to best serve you and to ensure the best possible experience, we ask that all clients communicate to your cleaning team the following before home cleaning appointments:

1. Allergies

At Nashville Brighthouse, we use high-quality, green, non-toxic products that really work. However, it’s important that we know ahead of time if you or anyone living in the house has any allergies that may be triggered by cleaning products. This can be a chemical, a plant, a fragrance, or any other potential allergen. In the case that allergies do exist, we’re happy to review our products to guarantee that they are free of your allergens. We’re also happy to use any other specific products that you provide and prefer in your home.

2. Schedules

While it’s easiest if the whole family is out of the house during the cleaning, we understand that that is not always possible. If you need your professional cleaning team to start in a particular bedroom or to leave the dining room for the end of the visit, please communicate to your cleaning team and we will be happy to work around your needs. If possible, communicate when you’ll be coming and going from the home with your cleaning team so that they have the opportunity to prioritize the cleaning tasks accordingly in a way that will cause the least amount of disruption possible for you and your family.

3. Existing Issues

This is often overlooked, but is an extremely important topic to communicate to your cleaning team. If you have a door handle that often breaks off, a stain on your carpet that cleaning won’t remove, or a crack in a table or chair leg, please let your cleaning team know about it. Not only does this eliminate any potential issue with the cleaning team worrying that they are responsible for the issue, but it also helps the team to know to use extra care to not make any of the issues worse than they already are.

Your Nashville Brighthouse cleaning team is working hard to give you the spotlessly clean home of your dreams. We look forward to working with you and thank you in advance for doing your part when you communicate to your cleaning team your needs and special circumstances.
